EMS ISD Welcomes Veteran Educator to Lead Bryson ES
EMS ISD is pleased to announce Allison Bode as the new principal at Bryson Elementary School.
Bode brings 24 years of teaching and campus administrative experience to Bryson, having served most recently as Assistant Principal at High Country Elementary in EMS ISD for the past five years.
"We are excited to have Allison Bode leading Bryson Elementary," said Dr. Dana Barnes, EMS ISD Deputy Superintendent. "She is a strong, caring leader with a range of professional experiences that span from elementary to high school. This gives her a comprehensive perspective on a child's journey through education and the supports they may need throughout that journey to find success, which begins at the elementary level."
Bode began her teaching career in Alvarado in the fall of 2000 after graduating from Oklahoma State University. She taught in Allen ISD and then Northwest ISD prior to joining Eagle Mountain-º£½ÇÖ±²¥ ISD, where she served as a program coordinator at Chisholm Trail High School supporting struggling students through graduation and college pathways. During that time, she also completed her master’s in education leadership at Texas Christian University as a part of the Principal Fellows Program, which included a year as an assistant principal intern in the district.
"Mrs. Bode is focused on maintaining a positive school culture and creating engaging learning environments," Barnes said. "We are confident she will work in partnership with all members of the Bryson community to continue building on the school’s rich legacy, traditions, and expectations for excellence."
Bode is married to Byron Bode, who is a golf coach at Eagle Mountain High School, and they have two daughters. She officially begins her duties as principal on July 15 to join in campus preparations for the upcoming school year.
